“It is because of the LORD’s loving kindnesses that we are not consumed, because his mercies don’t fail. They are new every morning. Great is your faithfulness.”
Starting over today
Arriving at a new month carrying the weight of what was left behind is common: unmet goals, unfinished conversations, built-up tiredness. But this passage was written at a very hard time and, even so, it found a reason to start again. God’s mercy doesn’t work like a supply that runs out. It arrives new every day. You don’t need to solve the whole month right now, just receive today and take the next step.
Lord, thank you for this new day. I give you what is already past and what still worries me. Give me peace to live today, courage to start again, and a heart that pays attention to your faithfulness. Amen.

Frequently asked questions
Is it really free?
Yes. There’s no subscription, paid plan or ads. Anyone who wants to can support us with Pix, but that’s completely optional and changes nothing in the app.
Do I need to download something from an app store?
No. Pastoreio Diário opens in your browser and can be added to your phone’s home screen like an app.
Which Bible do you use?
In English, the World English Bible (WEB), a modern translation in the public domain. In Portuguese, the Bíblia Livre (BLIVRE). The Bible comes inside the app, so you can read and search it offline. Full credits are on the About page.
How does the daily reminder work?
The app creates a repeating event in your phone’s calendar, at the time and on the days you choose. Your phone itself reminds you, even with the app closed. Nothing is sent to any server.
What about my data?
We don’t ask you to sign up and we don’t use cookies. Your streak and favorites stay only on your device. We only count visits to the site anonymously, to know whether the project is reaching people.
Does it work on iPhone?
Yes, right in Safari. To have the app on your home screen, tap Share and then Add to Home Screen. We show you step by step in the app.
Is it in Portuguese too?
Yes. Pastoreio Diário was born in Brazil. You can switch between English and Portuguese anytime on the app’s Today screen or in Settings.
